CROP Hunger Walk Raises Nearly $6,500
Walkers from several Bartlett congregations came together for the annual Dick Poremba Memorial Bartlett CROP Hunger Walk, Sunday, Oct. 3, and raised nearly $6,500 to fight local and world hunger. This was the seventh year for the Bartlett CROP Walk, led by Living Lord. Last year, the Walk was renamed in honor of the late Dick Poremba, a Living Lord member who was highly involved with the Bartlett CROP Walk.
Twenty-five percent of the money raised will benefit the needy in our own community via Feeding Northwest DuPage and the Hanover Township food pantry. The rest will be directed to people in need all over the world through Church World Service.
