“Train children in the way they should go,
and when they are old they will not turn from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6

Living Lord Lutheran Church is “the place to be” for kids in fifth grade through high school. Our creative youth programs are designed to excite youth about Jesus and challenge them to make Him the center of their daily lives.

High School Youth Group
Living Lord’s high school youth group is a way for teens to make friends, have fun, serve others, explore their connection to Christ, and grow in faith. It’s about having fun with a Christian attitude. It’s about learning and practicing what it means to be a Christian. Some activities include concerts, sporting events, and competitions, as well as faith-building retreats, camps, and mission trips.

High School Bible Study
High school kids have the opportunity to participate in topical Bible study each Sunday morning during the 9:00 AM worship service time. The idea is to encourage them to take time each week to grow spiritually along with their peers through Bible study and then join their family and the rest of the congregation for further spiritual enrichment through worship, either at 10:30 AM Sunday or Saturday evening at 5:00 PM.

SNAC (Sunday Night At Church)
SNAC is a time of faith-filled, organized fellowship and Bible study for high school students. SNAC is held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 6:30-8:30 PM at Living Lord.

Small Groups
Teens who want to dig deeper into their faith and learn more about what it means to be a Christian can participate in small groups, led by caring adults who act as faith mentors.

Youth Worship Service
Several times per year, Living Lord’s teens plan and lead weekend worship services for the whole congregation. The faith and creativity demonstrated by these youth inspire the congregation and show parents the wonderful results of encouraging their children to explore and act on their faith.

Junior High Ministries

Confirmation
A major part of the ministry to seventh and eighth graders is the Confirmation program. Our program prepares these youth to confirm their faith as Christians and   become active members of the congregation. Our goal is to provide a creative and fun Confirmation program that encourages students to (1) experience a solid relationship with the Lord; (2) build friendships within a Christian community (small groups); and (3) serve others in community with their small group.

Bible Study
To build on the Confirmation experience, seventh and eighth graders are encouraged to attend the junior high Bible study at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings. These engaging study topics go hand-in-hand with lessons learned in Confirmation.

Other Growth Activities
Seventh and eighth graders are invited to participate in other exciting Christian-growth experiences, including Confirmation camp, service projects, retreats, and mission trips.

Midweek MANIA

Midweek Calendar

Midweek MANIA (Ministry and Nutty Indoor Activities) draws fifth and sixth graders into a real and personal understanding of Jesus. The youth are heartily welcomed each Tuesday evening (6:30-8:00 PM) and encouraged Midweekto bring their friends, have fun, and learn about God. The goals are to guide them to become more active in their faith and to encourage their desire to know Him better. Midweek is a fun and exciting way for these kids to build relationships with their Christian peers.
