Living Lord Lutheran Church Emergency Notices and Updates

Living Lord Preschool will be closed the week of March 16th.

Dear Living Lord Community,
We have all been monitoring information about the COVID-19 virus and desire the best for everyone.  In view of the latest information from the CDC, WHO, and the Governor’s Office here’s what we are currently doing to ensure the safety of all who come to Living Lord:
    * Additional cleaning has been ongoing this week and will continue
    * The Spaghetti Dinner scheduled for Saturday has been postponed
    * Doughnut Sunday is canceled this weekend.
    * Wednesday night Soup Suppers for the remainder of Lent have been canceled
    * All worship services will be cancelled. We will broadcast a modified 10:30 service and we will continue to monitor and evaluate this schedule.
   * We are also planning for video messages and prayers throughout the week.  See our Youtube channel or Facebook for these messages.
    * Sunday school as well as Joy choirs is suspended until further notice.
    * We will temporarily suspend our volunteer teams that go to Victory Center and Artis until further notice.

We will be a polling place on Tuesday, however, other outside groups' use of the facility will be limited.
Office hours for staff may be adjusted pending further health information.

Participating in worship via our online broadcasts is always an option. Go to our homepage at and follow the links.

Here’s what you can do:
       *  Please pray for everyone affected by this pandemic; individuals, families, businesses, those in healthcare and government agencies.  Those making decisions and those living with decisions made.
       *  If you feel sick, please stay home and call your doctor.
       *  Please wash your hands with soap and water. This is the best defense.  As a secondary alternative when soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer.

We will continue to monitor the situation and are in contact with health officials. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me.

May the presence of Christ be felt by those who need healing, comfort, and peace.

Pastor Sue
