Living Lord Church is a congregation of the ELCA that is growing and we are looking for candidate(s) who could fill administrative and bookkeeping duties. We are posting a 20-hour per week, on-site Office Administrator position and a 10-hour per week, on-site Bookkeeper position. We are also posting a 30-hour Office Administrator and Bookkeeper position because we are open to hiring one candidate who has the skill set for both positions. All three are considered on-site, in-person positions. Join Us for Sunday School 2026/2027
The 2026/2027 Sunday School season will kick off on Rally Day, Sunday, September 13, and will be offered during the 10:30 a.m. Contemporary Service. Children PreK - 6th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School. Living Lord is committed to offering a program that helps children learn about our awesome God, hear and take part in stories from the Bible to help them understand God’s purpose in their lives, and support global and local missions around the world and in their community. ‘Jesus With Me’ Campaign Celebration!
Thanks to all who joined our wonderful Jesus With Me summer campaign! Jesus With Me was an activity to help us stay plugged into our faith throughout the summer months by taking Jesus With Me on all our summer adventures, and even in the quiet times, too. The message is that although we may be far from home, Jesus is always with us. It was so exciting to see where our journeys took us this summer, with Jesus there with us every step of the way!

Highlights From the Adult Mission Trip to Asheville, NC
Living Lord Church recently partnered once again with Peace Lutheran Church (Lake Zurich, IL) for the annual Adult Mission Trip. This year’s destination was Asheville, NC. “Even though the scenery was so stunning” along the drive in western North Carolina, reported team member Lynn Marinelli, “it was the vastness of the devastation from Hurricane Helene that really caught my eye and my heart.” Watch this video for a synopsis of their meaningful work to help people rebuild their homes and their lives. Thank you, mission team, for your amazing work to bring help and healing in North Carolina.
