Living Lord will host a concert of the Great Elgin Pipe Organ Tour! Please plan to join your Living Lord friends and the community for this wonderful free concert featuring music from our own Jonathan Hirtzig! This concert will feature an organ - tuba duet from Jonathan and Pastor Kristian AND an original arrangement composed by Jonathan based on the theme of Star Wars! See you on the fourth!

Give the gift of HOPE by donating blood! This Blood Drive is held in loving honor of a cherished member of the congregation, Michelle Kish, who passed away in 2025.

Please join us: Together, we can make a difference in the community! Donors are encouraged to eat a healthy meal, avoid caffeine, and drink plenty of water before donating. Donors must have a photo ID to participate.

Join Us for the NW DuPage CROP Hunger Walk

Please join us with your steps and your donations! Here’s your opportunity to support the Northwest DuPage CROP Hunger Walk, held in Wayne. Together, we will provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them, and create greater food security in communities around the world. Our team is looking for walkers and donations. Walkers can walk any distance they want, with no required financial pledge per mile.

Trunk or Treat Is Coming!

Sunday, October 18, at 4:00 PM in the Church Parking Lot

Please join us for TRUNK OR TREAT! Instead of trick-or-treating door to door, let’s go trunk to trunk in the Living Lord parking lot!

WANTED: Lots of folks to decorate car trunks and/or canopy displays with treats to hand out. (Please arrive at 3:30 p.m. to set up.) If you can participate with a trunk or canopy display, please email bob.esmail@livinglordlutheran.org or sign up at church.

NEEDED: Hungry kids in adorable costumes with their trick-or-treating bags ready!

ALSO NEEDED: Donations of sealed, individually wrapped candy dropped off in advance or brought to the event.

Play some GAMES, enjoy some LIVE MUSIC, make some S’MORES, and cast a VOTE for your favorite trunk. Fun for all ages... bring a friend! IT WILL BE SPOOKTACULAR!

The 2026/2027 Sunday School season has begun and is offered during the 10:30 a.m. Contemporary Service. Children PreK - 6th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School. Living Lord is committed to offering a program that helps children learn about our awesome God, hear and take part in stories from the Bible to help them understand God’s purpose in their lives, and support global and local missions around the world and in their community.
