A "Safe Haven" Congregation

Thank you for your interest in getting involved with our youth ministries! To work with any children in our congregation, adults and youth must be trained and certified via our Safe Haven Training. Please follow the procedures below to receive your training and certification.

Safe Haven Covenant Statement:
The congregation of Living Lord Lutheran Church is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children, youth, and volunteers who participate in ministries and activities sponsored by the church.

Safe Haven Security Training must be completed once every 2 years.

Steps for Completing On-Line Training:

1.  View the Training Video.

2. Read the Safe Haven Misconduct Prevention & Reporting Policy.

3. Print and complete the following documents that require a signature using the PDF linked here.
   This single PDF includes the following documents:

   • Covenant Statement

   • Safe Have Policies

   • Misconduct Prevention & Reporting Policies Sign-Off

   • Post-Training Questions

4. If necessary, print and complete the Background Consent information sheet. (Note: required for overnight event participants)

5. Complete all forms and return to church office or Steve Ricci's mailbox located in the copier room.

 Your completed certification will be kept on file for two years.
