Bible Studies and Adult Small Groups

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations …

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” — Matthew 28:19-20

The goal of the Christian education program at Living Lord is to provide relevant, Bible-based education to help all ages in our congregation grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The program is designed to supplement and expand on the worship experience, to dig deeper into the Word of God. Study courses range from the basics, for those who are not familiar with or have never studied the Bible, to more advanced, disciple-building studies, for those who seek greater faith-building challenges. Living Lord offers many Bible studies, small-group ministries, and other activities at different times and on different days of the week to accommodate today’s busy schedules.

Sunday Morning Bible Study 9:00AM on Zoom

This year we are looking at the different characters in the Bible to see what we can learn from their stories. Do you have a favorite character that you'd like to know more about? Let us know and we'll do a study on him or her. These lessons will be interspersed with studies on short topics that are of interest. We'll take suggestions on these, too, in case you have a curiosity about something. If you have not been to the Sunday class before, please email Joyce Stahl at and we'll be sure to put you on our contact list for any updates.

Thursday Morning Bible Study 10:30AM on Zoom

Just released in August, The Difficult Words of Jesus by A. J. Levine, is based on major verses that have confused and confounded readers as they have studied the Gospel. We will be using this as a basis in our studies this year. Join us by phone, iPad, or computer. Email Barb Pedersen at for the class link to Zoom. Come and join us for study, prayer, and great discussions.
