Bible Studies and Adult Small Groups

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations …

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” — Matthew 28:19-20

The goal of the Christian education program at Living Lord is to provide relevant, Bible-based education to help all ages in our congregation grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The program is designed to supplement and expand on the worship experience, to dig deeper into the Word of God. Study courses range from the basics, for those who are not familiar with or have never studied the Bible, to more advanced, disciple-building studies, for those who seek greater faith-building challenges. Living Lord offers many Bible studies, small-group ministries, and other activities at different times and on different days of the week to accommodate today’s busy schedules.

The Sermon on the Mount, a Beginner's Guide to the Kingdom of Heaven:

If you think you know all there is to know about the Sermon on the Mount, you will be greatly surprised. We'll be looking at it through the eyes of the Jewish scholar, A.J.Levine, and will be hearing it the way Jesus' first listeners heard it. We will use the Zoom format; Bible Study in the comfort of your home! We will have a class on Thursday mornings at 10:30am starting September 17th with Barb Pedersen. We will also have a class on Sunday mornings at 9:00am starting September 20th with Joyce Stahl. Please contact Barb at or Joyce if you would like to join us!

Advent Bible Study- Join in for a three week study in Advent based on "It's a Wonderful Life". The movie was originally based on a book titled "The Greatest Gift" by Peter Van Doren Stern. As we look to the celebration of the Greatest Gift we have in Jesus, we will use the themes of this short story turned movie classic. Meeting online at 7:00 pm on Tuesdays, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15. Sign up with Pastor Sue or Nicolette.
